Fran Coleman serves as Sr. Vice President & Chief Operating Officer of FamilyCare Health Centers. FamilyCare is a community health center that provides health care services to over 35,000 patients annually. FamilyCare operates nineteen health centers and five mobile units. FamilyCare offers a vast array of services including adult and pediatric health care, behavioral health, psychiatry, substance use disorder treatment, urgent care, dental care, school-based services, ophthalmology, women's health care, prenatal care and operates the only birth center in the state of West Virginia. She has been with FamilyCare for over 28 years as the Chief Financial Officer, then transitioning to the Chief Operating Officer. She has played a vital role in the organization's growth and has been part of every site and service expansion in the organization's history. When she joined the organization, FamilyCare was operating one site offering women's health and birth center services and now operates nineteen sites over four counties. She is very compassionate about the mission of the organization and has dedicated her career to improving access to healthcare in our communities. She was born and raised in West Virginia and has three sons and seven grandchildren, all who live in West Virginia. She enjoys the beauty of West Virginia's landscape and enjoys riding her side-by-side on the country roads with her husband, Jeff. She also enjoys spending time with her family at their camp on the Elk River.
