About this Event
We happily welcome all Leadership WV participants! We look forward to training with you. Don’t forget to register for both sessions: July 23rd and July 24th!
The purpose of our two-part training, Implicit Bias: Unpacking Hidden Prejudices, is to help community leaders understand race-related concepts in hopes of breaking down the barriers racial bias creates.
The objectives of this training include providing a historical background of race relations and discrimination, recognizing common diversity and inclusion related misconceptions, and defining Implicit Bias and discussing how bias manifests in our daily lives.
This presentation provides a safe space to encourage honest dialogue surrounding racial bias in the world around us.
Please make sure to register for both July 23rd and July 24th. We look forward to this important dialogue.
There is a pre-test, a video, and a follow-up survey. Please make sure you complete these once you are registered. The pre-test and video will broaden our conversation!
